Stonewall Day, Sunday June 28th

KXCI Community Radio celebrates the accomplishments and goals of the modern gay rights movement with a special day of programming on Sunday, June 28th, marking the 40th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots in New York City. The riots - sparked by a police attack on gay patrons of the Stonewall Inn bar - is generally cited as the birthplace of the modern push toward equality for GLBTQ people in our country. Join us June 28th for special music, interviews and much more as we look back at the past 40 years and forward to the challenges that lie ahead. Stonewall Day's 40th Anniversary - only on Your Community Radio, KXCI 91.3FM.
