Glenn Tilbrook in Studio 2A Monday

Monday Glenn Tilbrook will be stopping by for an in-studio 2a performance at 5:30pm on The Homestretch. Glenn Tilbrook is known as the lead singer and guitarist of Squeeze, as well as for his solo performances. He'll be performing a KXCI Presents! intimate early show Monday, October 19th. Doors open at 7pm for this Club Congress show.

Dr. Dog - The Subdudes - Marianne Dissard - Wednesday on The Homestretch

Tune in to The Homestretch for a slew of special guests and performances Wednesday, Oct. 7th, from 3 to 6pm. Marianne Dissard will be in for a live in-Studio 2A at 3:30pm. The Subdudes will stopping in for a visit before their show at the Rialto Theatre and we'll play back a live performance with Dr. Dog, from when they stopped by Studio 2A in September of last year. All this plus ticket giveaways and The Pick of the Week at 5pm, Langhorne Slims's Be Set Free. Marianne Dissard will be kicking off her west coast tour with a free show Wednesday night in the lounge at Plush, with openers Courtney Marie Andrews & Mark Growden. The Subdudes will bring their unique take on New Orleans music; blending blues, gospel, R&B and Americana to the Rialto Theatre Wednesday night, in a KXCI Presents show. Across the street at Club Congress this Wednesday night, Dr. Dog performs in another KXCI Presents show. Dr. Dog creates indie-rock that is lush and lo-fi at the same time, while recalling the classic roots sound of The Band. Jeffrey Lewis opens this all ages show at 9pm.

David Bazan in-Studio 2A perfromance, Monday 10/5

David Bazan will be in for a live Studio 2A performance this Monday, at 5:30pm, on The Homestretch. Frontman of Pedro the Lion, David Bazan, is touring behind his first proper full length solo release, Curse Your Branches, on Barsuk Records. Folksy and rockin', David's songs explore themes of family, alcoholism, spirituality, faith and his public and private relationship with religion. But he's not a downer. The songs on Curse Your Branches are thoughtful yet catchy, intimate yet universally enjoyable. David is touring with a full band for the first time in four years. Si Hi, formerly Say Hi To Your Mom, open this KXCI Presents all ages show at Solar Culture, 31 E. Toole, Monday October 5th, 9pm.
