Featured Last Week on KXCI:

(L-R) Afrocubism, Badly Drawn Boy, N.E.R.D., R.E.M.

Last week featured new efforts from Afrocubism - featuring Malian guitarist Djelimady Tounkara, n'goni player Bassekou Kouyate, Toumani Diabate and many others - a supergroup that would make any publicist drool; After being bruised by the industry and three years of seclusion, Damon Gough is back with a new Badly Drawn Boy album; N.E.R.D. introduces Rhea, a brand new vocalist to the group's fourth album which bends genres even more than in the past.

This week's CD Documentary looks back on R.E.M.'s Murmur, and on Locals Only on Monday night, it's Martin Tanner, winner of the Acoustic Battle of the Bands, Live in Studio 2A.
