Folk Festival interviews and performances all week

Tune in to The Home Stretch every day this week for a preview of TKMA's 25th annual Tucson Folk Festival, happening this Saturday and Sunday, May 1st and 2nd. (Learn more: www.tkma.org). Cathy will be interviewing festival organizers and performers, and you can also expect performances from several of the more than 100+ musicians that will take the stage this Saturday and Sunday. On Friday, Mary Ann Beerling will also host a one-hour special from 6 to 7pm focusing on the Folk Festival. And of course, while we want you to come on down and enjoy the festival, we know you can't always be there - that's why we'll have "better than live" coverage of the Folk Festival on both Saturday and Sunday, hosted by Ruby and Mike. Typically we will be on about a 60-90 minute delay from the Plaza Stage. Please note we are not broadcasting the Saturday headliner, Chris Hillman, so you will have to come on down to see this legendary performer. Regular programming will be preempted on Saturday and Sunday beginning about noon each day.
