On Air: Sunday, June26 @ 5pm, Broad Perspectives

An interview with Marge Pellegrino,  a word-wild, book-bonkers, library lunatic. She's facilitated expressive arts workshops since 1991. Her Owl & Panther project has served families of survivors of torture for the last twelve years. Her Word Journeys Program won a White House Coming Up Taller Award for excellence in after school programming. All her books including My Grandma's
the Mayor and I Don't Have an Uncle Phil Anymore are available in Korean, and Too Nice is also published in Polish. Journey of Dreams won the Judy Goddard Award for young adult literature, was a Smithsonian Notable Book and a Southwest Book of the year in 2009. More about Pellegrino here.
